JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foudnation announces details for Family Fun Day

JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation has announced and revealed details for a Family Fun Day event. On Saturday, June 17 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation will host the event with a new community partner in Ground Up Training System (GUTS) at their training facility in Ferndale, Michigan. The event is free and open to all families.

Family Fun Day is a staple event for JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation. Held multiple times throughout the year in different areas of southeast Michigan, Family Fun Day provides families a day activities for them and their children to enjoy. This Family Fun Day will feature a variety of games, face painting, music and more. Pizza and snacks will be provided for all guests. Making a special appearance at Family Fun Day will be the Detroit Tigers’ mascot, Paws and JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation’s mascot, Augie the Spectrum Dog.

“Having met with GUTS, I can say with certainty that they provide a unique facility that very few in Southeast Michigan can,” said Jennie Spring, Community Outreach Coordinator for JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation. “Also taking into consideration their history of working with individuals on the autism spectrum disorder, the Foundation knows that GUTS can provide an environment that’s comfortable for everyone.”

GUTS is a physical fitness and training facility located in Ferndale, Michigan that looks to guide their clients toward a physically healthy lifestyle. GUTS develops a personalized training and exercise routine for their clients, regardless of age, athletic ability and activity level. Founded by brothers Paul and Todd Turner, GUTS works with clients who have special needs, helping them lead healthy and active lifestyles.
